Susannah Rusling

Susannah was proving to be yet another brick wall in my family tree!
Her son, Mark, has a baptism (1772) entry in St Martin's Church records, Owston Ferry, Lincolnshire, which just states his mother's name as Susanna Rusling.

I figured that Marks father could have been deceased, which meant there should be a burial record somewhere between his birth and nine months earlier - but there isn't!

I have now found a burial record in St Martins, Owston Ferry, for Susanna Rusling...

...and interestingly, she was buried on exactly the same day as her son, Mark, was christened.

But, even more interestingly, this IGI record states that Susannah Rusling's parents were William and Elizabeth...RUSLING!

Is this telling us that Susannah didn't marry?

The plot thickens...
